SVP Aerospace UDT-70 Portable UHD Video Transmitter in Two-Box

The UDT-70 is the latest portable transmitter developed by SVP Aerospace. Its unique features, exclusively achievable by SVP, make it the most advanced transmitter on the market today.

The UDT-70 comprises an internal unit with an encoder and modulator, and an external unit with an RF section, designed to be supported on a tripod with a direct connection to a parabolic antenna and an optional duplexer.

It supports HEVC, H.264, and MPEG-2 encoding for UHD (Ultra High Definition), HD (High Definition), and SD (Standard Definition) signals with ultra-low latency. HEVC provides the same video quality while reducing file size by up to 50% compared to its predecessor, H.264.

Key enhancements of this new transmitter include the capability to transmit a single UHD signal with HDR at 10-bit 4:2:2 quality or four simultaneous 1080p50/59 HD signals.

The ASI and IP outputs enable the use of the transmitter as a standalone encoder.

This portable transmitter supports DVB-T, DVB-T2, and DVB-S and DVB-S2 modulations, allowing for very high bit rates (up to 100 Mbps).

The UDT-70 transmitter’s reliability and exceptional RF performance make it ideal for point-to-point links with high-performance encoding. The connection between the internal unit and the external unit is facilitated via Triax cable or SMPTE fiber optic.
