The AS-209 and AS-309 are linear polarization sector antennas, especially interesting for camera links. They work in the 2 GHz (AS-209) and 3 GHz (AS-309) bands. These antennas are commonly used in the receiver site. Their low weight and the N male connector make the direct connection to the down-converter possible, no cables are needed and cable losses in the receiver site are minimized.
These antennas offer a wide coverage area with 9dBi gain and a 80º horizontal and 80º vertical beamwidth. This wide radiation pattern makes it possible for the transmitter to move freely in the coverage area without the need to steer the receiver antenna.
