VS1000 is a high end capacitive MEMS accelerometer, specially designed for vibration measurements from DC to medium frequencies. Thanks to its low noise, resistance to repetitive high shocks and insensitivity to temperature environments, this MEMs vibration sensor guarantees confident and accurate vibration measurements in rugged environments.
Innovative MEMS architecture and stable IC ensure analogue outputs with an optimal signal-to-noise ratio and non-linearity in a whole bandwidth.
ADVANTAGES
Field-Proven In Critical Applications
The MS1000, TS1000 and VS1000 series MEMS Accelerometers are field-proven, supporting critical missions across a wide range of industries. Some of the applications include:
- Railway Technology – bogie monitoring, rolling stock fatigue analysis;
- Test & Measurement – aero flight testing, automotive testing, structure health testing – building, bridge, dam, nuclear plant, pipeline inspections;
- Monitoring & Control – drilling equipment stability, telemetry, wind turbine monitoring;
- Seismic Class C 90 dB – early earthquake warning system, seismic intensity instrumentation, structural health monitoring
Built-In Self-Test Function
The built-in self-test mode generates a square wave signal on the device outputs (OUTP & OUTN) and can be used for device failure detection. This can be helpful to prevent system faults before they occur.
Ensures Safety & Reliability
The high quality sensor design, the MEMS Accelerometer products support test engineers around the world quickly and flexibly, to ensure safety and reliability of vehicles, equipment and buildings.
