The device features 8 Power over Ethernet (PoE) outputs, allowing users to power IP phones, security cameras, and access points directly from the router, reducing the need for additional power sources.
Robust Metal Enclosure
With dimensions identical to the previous HD4 model, the HD4 MBX seamlessly integrates into existing deployments without requiring structural modifications. The HD4 MBX is certified for use with major carriers, including Verizon and T-Mobile, ensuring broad network compatibility. Verizon certification is currently in progress for the MAX-HD2-MBX-5GH-T model.
Ignition Sensing Technology
The HD4 MBX is designed for mobile use, featuring ignition sensing capabilities that allow it to power on and off in sync with a vehicle’s engine. Users can set a shutdown delay to prevent unnecessary battery drainage when the vehicle is off.
Expanded Connectivity with SIM Injector
The optional SIM Injector enables users to connect up to 16 cellular providers, mitigating weak coverage areas and preventing roaming charges when crossing national borders. The HD4 MBX supports FirstNet (Band 14), a specialized LTE network for first responders, providing priority access and enhanced capacity during emergencies. Additionally, it is certified by the UK’s Emergency Services Network (ESN), ensuring reliability for critical communication applications.
