Combine multiple WAN and LTE broadband sources into a single high-speed internet connection for your business using the Peplink Balance 310X router. Developments in load balancing and bonding technology mean medium-sized business can use affordable broadband options to get the bandwidth they need without breaking the bank on fiber optics. This Peplink enterprise router features an embedded Cat 12 LTE Advanced Pro modem, has two Wired WAN ports for connecting DSL, T1, and other connections, and two USB ports for 3G/4G/LTE modems. You can use one of the included load balancing algorithms to reroute incoming traffic along each line, or bundle them into a single secure data tunnel using SpeedFusion VPN bonding (requires a second Peplink router).
Both load balancing and bonding can be done with multiple ISP and cellular providers, so if one of them has a problem, your business will remain online. Intelligent Failover monitors the health of each connection and automatically reroutes traffic in case of a failure. When you use the Peplink Balance 310X as a bonding router, you also get the security benefits of an unbreakable virtual private network, with 100 percent uptime if you have a healthy WAN connection. With load balancing, you can run your network solely off a 3G/4G modem backup if needed. Other features such as AP Controller Standard and a web-based interface make it easy to manage your network and generate logs and reports.
For business owners with 25 to 150 network users, the Peplink Balance 310X enterprise router gives you the power and flexibility you need to stay online at all hours.
Router Features:
- Internet Connections Supported: 1 embedded cat 12 LTE, 2 Wired WAN, 2 USB
- Networks Supported for Embedded Modem: 4G LTE: B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B9, B12, B13, B14, B18, B19, B20, B26, B29, B30, B32, B41, B42, B43, B46, B48, B66; HSPA+: B1, B2, B4, B5, B6, B8, B9, B19, Firstnet
- WiFi Standard: No built-in WiFi. Add an access point (like the AP One Mini) if WiFi is needed.
- WiFi Range: N/A
- Ethernet ports: 9 GbE LAN + 2 GbE WAN
- Size: 1.72" x 11.5" x 7.0"
- Bonding: SpeedFusion VPN Bonding. NOTE: Many factors influence the real-world throughput you'll see from bonded connections, including latency, connection type, connection speeds, traffic type, and reliability on both sides of the SpeedFusion tunnel. Cellular users should note that bonded cellular connections suffer from "flow control" of TCP traffic at the carrier level, and Orbital Connect cannot guarantee that bonding multiple cellular connections will result in faster speeds (however, the other benefits of SpeedFusion remain, such as unbreakable VPN, session persistence, and 100% up-time as long as you have 1 healthy WAN).
