Experience enhanced safety with the C700 GMDSS, an Iridium satcom product providing 100% global coverage for all SOLAS vessel GMDSS requirements. This system proudly meets the new IEC 61097-16 (2019) GMDSS standard and is MED / Wheelmark approved, affirming its robust and compliant performance worldwide.
One Terminal: Daily comms to Distress Calls
Both the C200M and the C700 may be configured to deliver GMDSS solution as well as providing non-emergency comms. A single terminal could be used for SOLAS GMDSS and act as a companion to a flat panel or VSAT.
It includes Distress Alert & Safety Voice as well as Maritime Safety Information (MSI) but also supports SSAS communications and LRIT. Moreover, it can also provide routine communications either as a standalone satcom solution or as a companion terminal.
Built for Safety, Designed for the Bridge
The Safely Display Terminal (SDT) provides ship staff with direct, clear access to essential Satcom GMDSS features from the bridge console.
Its 7” IPS multi-touch screen ensures wide-angle visibility, complemented by precise auto/manual dimming for optimal operation in any light.
The intuitive user interface makes it easy to make routine voice calls and access Maritime Safety Information (MSI); but in the event of a distress event, it enables quick and easy communication with Rescue Co-ordination Centers (RCC) and nearby vessels.
Comprehensive integration
Designed for integration with the vessel’s Bridge Alert Management (BAM) system and Bridge Navigation Network, including ECDIS. A printer is available as an accessory if required.
Ease of installation
The system has been designed for easy installation on both new build and in-service vessels. A single coax antenna cable connects the BDU and ADU. The SDT can be either bracket mounted or flush mounted. There are a full set of accessories available, including a power supply, pole mounting kit, GMDSS Alarm Button, GMDSS alarm unit & optional printer/keyboards.
For retrofits there is a Universal
Flush Mounting Bracket that can be used to cover the cut out in the console from the equipment being replaced.
