Haivision MB Series Chassis

Haivision Makito encoder and decoder blades can be installed in MB6 or MB21 rackmount enclosures for multi-channel applications. A fully populated MB21 can support up to 21 HD inputs using Makito X single channel encoders or 84 inputs using Makito X4 quad-HD blades, making it the highest density video encoding and decoding solution available on the market. MB enclosures also feature redundant power supplies, in-service blade replacement, and fan management circuitry to minimize noise.

MB6 Six Slot Chassis

The MB6 is designed to support the rapid deployment of Haivision’s Makito encoders and decoders in space constrained installations. The six slot chassis can hold up to 6 Makito X and X4 blades making it the highest density system single rack unit (1 RU) available.

MB21 Twenty One Slot Chassis

Designed for high density IP video deployments, the MB21 chassis holds any combination of up to 21 Makito X and X4 encoders and decoders in a 4 RU rack. Deployed in broadcast facilities and server rooms worldwide, the MB21 features replaceable fans, redundant power supplies, and a station alarm interface to notify operators when a power supply or fan failure has occurred.
