Model HWK-15 extended L-band operating frequency (500-3150 MHz) Hawk Matrix is ideally suited for RF signal routing at smaller LEO gateways with small number of modems, where modem redundancy is required, Ka-band and HTS applications or with one or two antennas and remotely accessed teleports.
The 1U Hawk has capacity for up to 4 field serviceable and replaceable 4 x 4 matrix modules – which can be combining (fan-in) or distributive (fan-out) - for uplink and downlink. The compact LEO Matrix can be fitted with any combination of modules, depending on the application.
Key benefits
- Flexible module configurations - with up to 4 distribution modules and/or combining modules or a combination of distributive and combining modules providing routing solutions for uplink and downlink applications
- Cost effective solution whilst maintaining excellent RF performance
- Reliability in service with dual redundant power supplies and field serviceable and replaceable matrix modules.
- Remote connection via RJ45 Ethernet ports with HTTPS and SNMPv3 for secure communications
- Extended bandwidth suitable for HTS applications
Typical Applications
- LEO gateways
- Small Ka/HTS gateaway terminals
- Small teleports
- Uplink and downlink applications
- Oil & Gas
- Deployable VSAT terminals
