Model A-VGAL1-310002 is a L-band Smart Amplifier (850-2150) with variable 0-30 dB gain settable in 0.5 dB gain steps. The unit also has 10 MHz pass and DC block, with variable gain and slope compensation to balance input signals.
The variable gain amplifier has built in remote control and monitoring via serial RS 485 port and therefore does not require control and monitor functionality from the amplifier module controller.
Typical applications include: telecom infrastructures, satellite systems, microwave links, test and instrumentation and radar networks.
