Enhanced Carrier Monitoring for a single Decimator.
The “SPS” (also called Spectator) is a software-add-on license for the Decimator D4 product line that unlocks advanced spectrum monitoring / overview / carrier-monitoring features in the user interface:
- Provides an “at-a-glance” view of many carriers in one display. You can see up to ~100 carriers in a single window
- Lets you track carrier power over time (trend plots), see which carriers are in alarm state, sort or focus on alarmed vs nominal carriers, etc.
- Supports email and SNMP-based alarms / notifications when carrier metrics (power, presence, center frequency, etc.) exceed thresholds
- Allows saving snapshot of the carrier overview (e.g., PNG images) or exporting reports / generating carrier reports for SLA or performance tracking
- The UI for Spectator is web-based, so you access it via browser. Projects / display layouts can be saved & recalled.
- It works with Decimator D4 devices (both Multi-Port and likely Single-Port units) that support the relevant firmware & licensing framework. The “Multi-Port Decimator D4 Spectrum & Signal Analyzer” product page includes Spectator as one of the feature-license options.
