Licenses the additional 4-Ports of your 4 port Decimator to make all 8 ports active.
This is a software licence (i.e. a digital key file) enabling a hardware capability already present in certain Decimator D4 products. Specifically: The hardware (in “Multiport Decimator D4” models) includes an RF switching matrix that physically supports up to 8 RF input ports. The “/U” upgrade license allows the customer to unlock all 8 ports so that the unit can use 8 inputs instead of being limited to 4. This is done by uploading a license file/key, validating it, then rebooting for the activation.
