Agilis
Agilis ALB1290C7-80E-3 ALB129 Series Compact 80W Std. Ku-Band Block Up Converter
ALB129 Series Compact 80W Ku Band Block Up Converter
This small and lightweight Block Upconverter (BUC) is ideal for mobile and satellite uplink applications. It boasts “Best in Class” efficiency and “lowest power consumption.” The unit operates on a broad AC power supply range of 96VAC to 264VAC. Its innovative and efficient thermal design contributes to making this BUC one of the smallest, most robust, reliable, and rugged devices capable of withstanding outdoor conditions in the industry.
A built-in redundancy feature eliminates the need for an external controller for 1:1 redundancy operation, simplifying cabling at the antenna and providing a very elegant solution. The BUC also offers extensive monitoring and control interfaces, including RS232, RS485, and Ethernet (supporting SNMP and HTTP).
Features
- Compact and lightweight design: Enhances portability and ease of installation.
- Standard and extended Ku-Band availability: Offers versatility for different frequency requirements.
- Forward power detection: Ensures accurate power monitoring.
- Intuitive monitoring and control: Accessible via RS232, RS485, and Ethernet interfaces (SNMP and HTTP).
- Automatic fault identification and alarm generation: Improves reliability and maintenance.
- Temperature compensation facility: Ensures stable performance across varying temperatures.
- Built-in redundancy: Provides seamless operation without external controllers.
- Built-in 10MHz reference with auto-detection: Ensures frequency stability.
- Wide operating temperature range: From -40ºC to +60ºC, suitable for extreme environments.
- RoHS Compliant: Environmentally friendly and meets safety standards.
- Waterproof: Suitable for outdoor installations and harsh weather conditions.
Quality Assurance
100% of all BUCs go through stringent quality checks in addition to well defined Electrical Stress Screening to ensure operation in harsh outdoor environments. The BUCs are also subjected to seal test for water ingress verification.
Reliability
Field proven under harsh environment conditions, Agilis ODUs can withstand temperature ranging from -40ºC to +60ºC with up to 100% humidity.
