Teledyne Dual L/S-Band Outdoor SSPA 1.75 to 2.12 GHz

Teledyne Paradise Datacom’s Dual L/S-Band solid state power amplifier (SSPA) offers customers a virtual “two for the price of one” amplifier solution that dramatically lowers the costs of command and control, leaves a much smaller footprint, while also delivering higher reliability compared to traditional klystron power amplifiers. This SSPA is an ideal fit for both Military and Commercial command and control environments. The L/S-band SSPA provides the high reliability of solid-state technology required to support critical communications between the earth and satellites, and does so in a rugged outdoor-rated enclosure.

This amplifier is available in both the popular Compact Outdoor SSPA enclosure and the High-Power Outdoor enclosure for higher power levels. Utilizing the latest in linearized GaN amplifier module technology, these SSPAs can achieve the highest power densities in the industry. By utilizing an all GaN semiconductor design along with proprietary linearization techniques, the outdoor amplifiers simultaneously provide excellent linear output power along with industry leading efficiency.

All Teledyne Paradise Datacom SSPAs have a full complement of local and remote-control capability. The remote-control capabilities include: RS485/RS232 serial control, and Ethernet including SNMP, UDP, and internal web browsing. Discrete hardware control, Form C contact alarms and opto-isolated inputs are also included.
