The sat-nms LFTX-W Fiber Optical Transmitter and sat-nms LFRX-W Fiber Optical Receiver together create a high-performance optical link for wideband analog multi-carrier RF transportation over fiber optical media. Designed for flexibility and performance, these modules are available as standalone units, integrated in 2RU 19” rack-mount chassis, or housed in outdoor cabinets for external use.
Overview
- sat-nms LFTXL-W Optical Transmitter: Converts RF input spectrum into an optical output signal at 1310 nm.
- sat-nms LFRXL-W Optical Receiver: Regenerates the optical signal back into an RF spectrum.
These units are ideal for applications requiring wideband L-band frequency coverage.
Frequency Band
- sat-nms LFTXL-W and LFRXL-W: Operate across 950 to 2450 MHz, offering a broader frequency range than standard configurations.
Chassis Configuration
- 2RU 19” Chassis:
- Accommodates up to 10 hot-swappable modules.
- Modules can be mixed in any slot configuration.
- Hot Swappable Design: Both RX and TX modules and power supplies can be replaced without system downtime.
Applications
- Satellite Ground Stations and Teleports:
Facilitates high-performance RF signal transportation for uplink and downlink operations. - Cable Head-End Stations:
Ideal for distributing RF signals within cable networks.
Key Features
- Wider L-Band Frequency Coverage:
Covers frequencies up to 2450 MHz, making it suitable for modern broadband applications. - Compact 2RU 19” Rack-Mount Design:
Optimizes space utilization in technical facilities. - Hot-Swappable Components:
Allows for easy replacement of modules or power supplies without interrupting operations. - Integrated RF Gain Adjustment:
Ensures precise signal management and optimal performance. - Extensive Monitoring and Control:
Includes local control via LCD display and keyboard and remote control through:- Web Browser
- SNMP
- HTTP GET functions
- RS232 interface
- Redundant Hot-Swap Power Supplies:
Enhances system reliability by providing uninterrupted power.
