The sat-nms LBRX19-81 L-Band Beacon Receiver, manufactured by SatService GmbH, is a highly versatile RF measurement tool tailored for tracking systems and control applications. This 19” rack-mount unit provides precise signal level measurements and outputs this data for use in various satellite communication systems. Below is an overview of its features and applications:
Overview
The sat-nms LBRX19-81 is an advanced version of the sat-nms LBRX-81 Beacon Receiver designed for rack-mount deployment. A compact DIN rail version is also available for installations with space constraints. A key distinguishing feature of this model is its 8:1 signal input switch, enabling up to 8 signal inputs to be connected and automatically selected based on frequency and polarization requirements.
The receiver works in conjunction with a PLL-stabilized Low Noise Converter (LNB), which down-converts satellite beacon signals to the L-Band range. The device does not demodulate satellite signals, making it suitable for various signal types, including FM and QPSK.
