To get started, simply unbox, mount, and connect to your vehicle's power or another AC or DC power source. Kymeta terminals are designed for anyone to be able to easily install and get started, with no special training required.

The Kymeta family of products use zero moving parts, so issues with jostling or vibration are nullified. The Hawk u8 requires less than 100W nominal power, which means it can be powered by solar panels, generators, or various alternative backup power options. Even when switching between send and receive, or dynamically switching to a new satellite on the move, the power draw remains minimal.
