Kymeta phased array de-icing system u8 Fixed Mount De-Icing System utilizes one each 1,450 watt Electric Heating Unit controlled by a thermostat that operates one of the two 725 watt Elements to keep the antennas electronics warm in harsh environments. The second 725 watt Element is controlled by the DS-4C Moisture/Temperature Sensor for De-Icing conditions when there is snow or ice present.
