GA24 IOT Terminal
The GA24 IOT terminal is increasingly being used for a variety of purposes in LEO/NEO/GEO multi-orbit. It is applicable in drone/unmanned vessels/mobility applications.
Reasons for the Challenges in Developing KA Band ESA Antennas:
- A frequency requirement: KA-band systems operate in the frequency from 26.5 to 40 GHz and are designed for high data rate services.
- High power requirements: Requires high-performance materials with low conductivity and dielectric loss.
- Increasing the number of chips: Higher data rate demands higher integration, which requires more chips, making cooling an issue.
- Terminal management: Operating multiple antenna and modem chips in a high-speed environment is challenging. Terminal management is required to handle the heat generated during signal processing.
- Electronics architecture: The high-frequency signal-processing environment requires high-speed and heat-efficient materials.
- Precise control: The KA band signal processing and antenna adjusting mechanism need to be highly integrated.
- Software-based: Signal processing and antenna adjusting software become increasingly complex and costly.
One Box Solution
The GA24 IOT terminal is designed as a compact and efficient solution with a size of only 17.5cm/6.9 inches, allowing it to be used in various environments. It supports both LTE and Wi-Fi and can be used for 5W and 10W operations.
