The OMNI-298 is a high-performance, dual-band Wi-Fi omni-directional antenna designed specifically for fixed wireless access (FWA) deployments.
It operates across the 2.4 GHz and 4.9 to 7.2 GHz frequency bands, supporting both legacy Wi-Fi technologies and modern standards, including Wi-Fi 7. This makes it suitable for a wide range of current and future wireless networking applications.
The OMNI-298 is engineered with 2×2 MIMO technology and uses vertically polarised radiating elements to deliver reliable omni-directional coverage. Its design removes horizontal elements found in other models, simplifying installation while maintaining efficient coverage for FWA applications.
In addition to Wi-Fi support, the antenna also covers the 3.3 to 4.2 GHz band used for Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) in 5G applications, offering a peak gain of 7.8 dBi and enhancing its versatility for both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.
With high-gain vertical antennas providing up to 10 dBi peak gain, the OMNI-298 delivers strong wireless performance across multiple frequency bands, making it suitable for residential and commercial Wi-Fi access point deployments.
