The MANTA terminal from Paradigm is a high throughput versatile satellite terminal designed to cater to both tactical deployment and satcoms-on-the-move operations. Combining the latest flat panel self-pointing technology with the PIM® (Paradigm Interface Module), the MANTA terminal is a highly portable, single case solution.
Terminal Overview
The MANTA Ku-Band high throughput versatile terminal is discreet, rugged and quick to deploy. The design is simple and robust for fast operation in demanding environments, and supports both static and mobile operations. With no moving parts, the discreet profile antenna provides maximum efficiency and optimum radiation characteristics for improved data throughput and availability. It deploys quickly and accurately without the need for tools in a static environment, and quickly attaches to roof bars (Thule or equivalent) for vehicle-mounted mobile operations.
The hand held remote offers additional live beam heading indication, satellite selection, transmit mute and system status information. The MANTA, provides integrated RF, modem and PIM terminal control. Just Add Power...
